The hotels of Santa Lucia, Cuba
There are four hotels in Santa Lucia. They are all located directly on the sea, two 4-star (entry level) the Gran Club and the Be Live, and two 3-stars the Caraco Hoteles-C and the Club Amigo Manayabo. We stayed at the Gran Club Santa Lucia and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of food. The hotel is not new, but perfect for someone looking for a nice place to stay without having to spend too much money.
The standard rooms are fairly small. However, there is an option for junior suites and suites, more spacious and closer to the beach. The gardens are magnificent. The buffet was excellent on the December 24th dinner, especially for a hotel of this category.
All hotels are in Santa Lucia offer the « all inclusive » package. This mean all the meals, drinks, activities and other services are included in your travel package. However, gratuities are at your discretion and are not included. The usual tip in Cuba is one convertible peso (CUC).

Electricity: 220 volts at the hotel Gran Club Santa Lucia. There are also 110 volts, but low wattage in the bathroom (for electric shaver and small appliances).
