Scuba diving in Santa Lucia

Santa Lucia is well known among divers. There is a long barrier reef (second after Australia according to the Cubans!) along the northern sector of this region of Cuba. One thing to note is that the reef is located about 1.8 km from the beach, you cannot reach the coral reef without a boat.

During our stay in December 2005, we did snorkel few times with a wet suit. A nice environment, but our favorite place is still Jibacoa in Cuba. Located in the province of La Habana. You can enjoy the marine world directly from the beach!.

We recently launched a website for our underwater photos and video taken in snorkeling. A collection of beautiful specimens of fish, corals and other marine organisms. This site is updated after each of our trips.

The marine world is simply fascinating but so fragile!
